INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL ECM





(a) Install the 2 brackets to the ECM with the 4 screws.
Torque: 3.0 Nm (31 kgf-cm, 27in-lbf)





(b) Install the ECM with the 3 nuts.
Torque: 8.0 Nm (82 kgf-cm, 71in-lbf)





(c) Connect the 2 ECM connectors.
NOTICE: When connecting the connectors, make sure that dirt, water or other foreign matter does not become stuck between the connectors and other parts.
(1) Connect the 2 ECM connectors and lower the 2 levers.
NOTICE: Make sure that the 2 levers are securely locked.

2. INSTALL V-BANK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY Installation
3. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
NOTICE: When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Repair Instruction - Initialization.

4. PERFORM INITIALIZATION
HINT: Initialization cannot be completed by only disconnecting and reconnecting the cable of the negative (-) battery terminal.

(a) Perform Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) registration Repair Instruction - Initialization.
(b) Register the ECM communication ID for the immobiliser system when replacing the ECM Repair Instruction - Initialization.
(c) Perform Initialization when replacing the ECM Installation.
