Knock Sensor: Removal

2009 Toyota Sequoia Limited, 5.7 Y, RWDSECTION Removal

  1. REMOVE INTAKE MANIFOLD ASSEMBLY 
    1. Remove the intake manifold (See INTAKE MANIFOLD ).
  2. REMOVE WATER BY-PASS PIPE SUB-ASSEMBLY (See  AIR PUMP  ) 
  3. REMOVE NO. 4 AIR INJECTION SYSTEM HOSE (See  AIR PUMP  ) 
  4. REMOVE KNOCK SENSOR 
    1. Disconnect the 2 knock sensor connectors.
    2. Remove the 2 nuts and 2 knock sensors.
