Inspection Procedure

2009 Toyota Sequoia Limited, 5.7 Y, RWDSECTION Inspection Procedure
  1. CHECK MAIN BODY ECU (POWER SOURCE) 
    1. Disconnect the DA and DB main body ECU connectors.
    2. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Voltage 

      VOLTAGE SPECIFICATION

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      DA-1 - Body ground Always 11 to 14 V
      DB-13 - Body ground Always 11 to 14 V

    NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR

    OK: Go to Next Step 

  2. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (MAIN BODY ECU - BODY GROUND) 
    1. Disconnect the DD main body ECU connector.
    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance 

      RESISTANCE SPECIFICATION

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      DD-62 - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω

    NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR

    OK: PROCEED TO NEXT CIRCUIT INSPECTION SHOWN IN PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE  (See PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE  )
