HINT:

The following items can be customized.

NOTE:
  • When the customer requests a change in a function, first make sure that the function can be customized.
  • Be sure to make a note of the current settings before customizing.
  • When troubleshooting a function, first make sure that the function is set to the default setting.
  1. CUSTOMIZE 
    1. Connect a Techstream to the DLC3.
    2. Turn the ignition switch to ON.
    3. Turn the Techstream on.
    4. Enter the following menus: Customize Setting / Security.
    5. Select the setting by referring to the table below.

      Security 

      CUSTOMIZE PARAMETERS

      Display (Item) Default Content Setting
      Warning by Horn ON Function that allows the vehicle horn and theft deterrent horn to be used as warning devices ON/OFF
      Passive Mode (Security System) OFF Passive Mode is a function that switches the theft deterrent system from the arming preparation state to the armed state 30 seconds after the key is removed from the key cylinder and all doors, the engine hood and the luggage compartment door are closed, even if the doors are not locked by wireless or door key lock operation.
      In Passive Mode, if the following operations are not performed within 14 seconds after a door is opened during armed state, the theft deterrent system will judge that condition as a theft and switch to the alarm sounding state.
      • Unlock any door by key or wireless operation
      • Turn the ignition switch to ON
      • Open the luggage compartment door by key or wireless operation
      ON/OFF
      Warning by Glass Breakage Sensor(1) ON Function that turns the glass breakage sensor on/off. This function is only effective for vehicles with glass breakage sensor. ON/OFF
      Entry Delay 14s Function that changes entry delay time (time before warning starts) for Passive Mode 0 s/14 s/30 s
