  1. CHECK TELEVISION CAMERA ASSEMBLY

    1. Disconnect the V17 camera connector.
    2. Measure the voltage and resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
      TERMINAL DESCRIPTION

      Terminal No. (Symbol) Wiring Color Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
      V17-3 (CGND) - Body ground W - Body ground Ground Always Below 1 Ω
      V17-4 (CB+) - V17-3 (CGND) B - W Power source Ignition switch ON, shift lever in R 5.5 to 7.05 V

      If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.

    3. Reconnect the V17 camera connector.
    4. Measure the waveform according to the value(s) in the table below.
      TERMINAL DESCRIPTION

      Terminal No. (Symbol) Wiring Color Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
      V17-2 (CV+) - V17-1 (CV-) R - L Display signal Ignition switch ON, shift lever in R Waveform

      If the result is not as specified, the camera may have a malfunction.

    5. Using an oscilloscope, check the waveform.

      WAVEFORM REFERENCE

      Terminal Condition V17-2 (CV+) - V17-1 (CV-)
      Tester Range 0.2 V/DIV., 0.2 μsec./DIV.
      Vehicle Condition Ignition switch ON, shift lever R position
  2. CHECK NAVIGATION RECEIVER ASSEMBLY  (See TERMINALS OF ECU )
