Knock Sensor: Installation
2009 Toyota FJ Cruiser RWDSECTION Installation
- INSTALL KNOCK SENSOR
- Install the 2 knock sensors with the 2 bolts as shown in the illustration.
Torque: 20 N*m (204 kgf*cm, 15 ft.*lbf)
- Connect the 2 knock sensor connectors.
- Install the 2 knock sensors with the 2 bolts as shown in the illustration.
- INSTALL NO. 1 WATER OUTLET PIPE
- Install the water outlet pipe with the 3 bolts.
Torque: 10 N*m (102 kgf*cm, 7.4ft.*lbf)
- Install the 4 wire harness clamps.
- Install the water outlet pipe with the 3 bolts.
- CONNECT HEATER WATER INLET HOSE
- Connect the heater water inlet hose to the water outlet pipe.
- INSPECT CYLINDER HEAD SET BOLT (See INSPECTION )
- INSTALL CYLINDER HEAD GASKET (See INSTALLATION )
- INSTALL CYLINDER HEAD SUB-ASSEMBLY (See INSTALLATION )
- INSTALL NO. 2 CAMSHAFT BEARING (See INSTALLATION )
- INSTALL CAMSHAFTS (for Bank 1) (See INSTALLATION )
- INSTALL NO. 2 CHAIN TENSIONER ASSEMBLY (See INSTALLATION )
- INSTALL CAMSHAFT TIMING GEARS AND NO. 2 CHAIN (for Bank 1) (See INSTALLATION )
- INSTALL WATER BY-PASS JOINT RR (See INSTALLATION )
- INSTALL INTAKE MANIFOLD (See INSTALLATION )
- CONNECT NO. 2 FUEL PIPE SUB-ASSEMBLY (See INSTALLATION )
- CONNECT NO. 1 FUEL PIPE SUB-ASSEMBLY (See INSTALLATION )
- INSTALL EXHAUST MANIFOLD SUB-ASSEMBLY RH (See INSTALLATION )
- INSTALL MANIFOLD STAY (See INSTALLATION )
- INSTALL FRONT EXHAUST PIPE ASSEMBLY (See INSTALLATION )
- INSTALL NO. 2 FRONT EXHAUST PIPE ASSEMBLY (See INSTALLATION )
- INSTALL EXHAUST PIPE STOPPER BRACKET (for 4WD)
- INSTALL NO. 1 COOL AIR INLET (See INSTALLATION )
- INSTALL CHAIN SUB-ASSEMBLY
