Knock Sensor: Inspection

2009 Toyota FJ Cruiser RWDSECTION Inspection
  1. INSPECT KNOCK SENSOR 
    1. Check the resistance.
      1. Using an ohmmeter, measure the resistance between the terminals.

        Standard resistance 

        STANDARD RESISTANCE

        Tester Connection Specified Condition
        1 (Ground) - 2 (Output) 120 to 180 kΩ at 20°C (68°F)

        If the result is not as specified, replace the knock sensor.
