Camshaft Timing Oil Control Valve Assembly: Installation

2009 Toyota FJ Cruiser RWDSECTION Installation
  1. INSTALL CAMSHAFT TIMING OIL CONTROL VALVE ASSEMBLY 
    1. Install the 2 camshaft timing oil control valves with the 2 bolts.

      Torque: 9.0 N*m (92 kgf*cm, 80 in.*lbf)

    2. Connect the 2 connectors.
  2. INSTALL INTAKE AIR SURGE TANK  (See INSTALLATION )
  3. INSTALL NO. 2 SURGE TANK STAY  (See INSTALLATION )
  4. INSTALL NO. 1 SURGE TANK STAY  (See INSTALLATION )
  5. INSTALL OIL BAFFLE PLATE  (See INSTALLATION )
  6. INSTALL THROTTLE BODY BRACKET  (See INSTALLATION )
  7. INSTALL AIR CLEANER ASSEMBLY  (See INSTALLATION  )
  8. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL 

    Torque: 3.9 N*m (40 kgf*cm, 35 in.*lbf) 

  9. ADD ENGINE COOLANT  (See REPLACEMENT )
  10. CHECK FOR ENGINE COOLANT LEAK  (See REPLACEMENT )
  11. INSTALL V-BANK COVER  (See INSTALLATION  )
