Ignition Coil: Installation
2009 Toyota FJ Cruiser RWDSECTION Installation
- INSTALL IGNITION COIL ASSEMBLY
- For Bank 1:
- Install the 3 ignition coils with the 3 bolts.
Torque: 10 N*m (102 kgf*cm, 7.4 ft.*lbf)
- Connect the 3 ignition coil connectors.
- Install the 3 ignition coils with the 3 bolts.
- For Bank 2:
- Install the 3 ignition coils with the 3 bolts.
Torque: 10 N*m (102 kgf*cm, 7.4 ft.*lbf)
- Connect the 3 ignition coil connectors.
- Install the 3 ignition coils with the 3 bolts.
- For Bank 1:
- CONNECT VENTILATION HOSE
- Connect the ventilation hose to the intake air surge tank.
- INSTALL NO. 1 SURGE TANK STAY (See INSTALLATION )
- INSTALL OIL BAFFLE PLATE (See INSTALLATION )
- INSTALL AIR CLEANER ASSEMBLY (See INSTALLATION )
- CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
Torque: 3.9 N*m (40 kgf*cm, 35 in.*lbf)
- INSPECT IGNITION TIMING (See ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION )
- INSPECT ENGINE IDLING SPEED (See ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION )
- INSTALL V-BANK COVER (See INSTALLATION )
