Front Bumper: Removal
2009 Toyota FJ Cruiser RWDSECTION Removal
- REMOVE RADIATOR GRILLE
- Using a clip remover, remove the 2 clips.
- Remove the 2 screws.
- Disengage the 5 clips and remove the radiator grille.
- REMOVE FRONT BUMPER COVER
- Apply protective tape.
- Using a clip remover, remove the 5 clips.
- Remove the 8 screws and the 4 bolts.
- Disengage the 2 claws and remove the front bumper cover.
- Remove the 4 clips.
- REMOVE FRONT BUMPER SIDE SUPPORT LH
- Remove the 2 screws.
- Disengage the 2 claws and remove the front bumper side support.
- REMOVE FRONT BUMPER SIDE SUPPORT RH
HINT:
Use the same procedure as for the LH side.
- REMOVE FRONT BUMPER FILLER LH
- Disengage the clip and the 2 claws and remove the front bumper filler.
- REMOVE FRONT BUMPER FILLER RH
HINT:
Use the same procedure as for the LH side.
- REMOVE FRONT BUMPER UPPER RETAINER
- Remove the 3 bolts.
- Disengage the 2 hooks and remove the front bumper upper retainer.
- REMOVE FRONT BUMPER REINFORCEMENT
- Remove the 4 nuts and the front bumper reinforcement.
- REMOVE FRONT BUMPER EXTENSION LH
- Remove the 4 nuts and the front bumper extension.
- REMOVE FRONT BUMPER EXTENSION RH
HINT:
Use the same procedure as for the LH side.
