HINT:
Performing this confirmation pattern will activate the mass air flow meter performance monitor.
- Connect Techstream to the DLC3.
- Turn the power switch on (IG).
- Turn the tester on.
- Clear the DTCs (See DTC CHECK/CLEAR ).
- Put the engine in inspection mode (See INSPECTION MODE PROCEDURE ).
- Warm it up until the engine coolant temperature reaches 70°C (158°F) or higher.
- Drive the vehicle at approximately 62 mph (100 km/h) for 20 seconds or more.
- On the tester, select the following menu items: Powertrain / Engine / Trouble Code / Pending and check if any DTCs (any pending DTCs) are set.
