Back-up Power Source Circuit: Procedure

- INSPECT FUSE (A/C)
- Remove the A/C fuse from the instrument panel J/B.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table blow.
Standard Resistance
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition A/C fuse Always Below 1 Ω
NG → REPLACE FUSE (A/C)
OK: Go to next step
- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (B - BODY GROUND)
- Remove the A/C amplifier and disconnect the connector.
- Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table blow.
Standard Voltage
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition D37-1 (B) - Body ground Always 10 to14 V
NG → REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK → PROCEED TO NEXT CIRCUIT INSPECTION SHOWN IN PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE
