Skid Control Sensor: Installation

- INSTALL SKID CONTROL SENSORÂ
- Wipe the sealant off the skid control sensor installation surface using white gasoline.NOTE: Keep the sensor rotor free of foreign matter.
- Install the skid control sensor onto the rear axle hub in the highest possible installation position.
HINT:
The distance between the installation holes should be larger on the upper side than the lower side.
- Using SST and a press, install a new skid control sensor into the rear axle hub until it is flush with the end.

- Wipe the sealant off the skid control sensor installation surface using white gasoline.
- INSTALL REAR AXLE HUB AND BEARING ASSEMBLYÂ (See INSTALLATION )
- INSPECT REAR AXLE HUB BEARINGÂ (See ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION )
- CONNECT SKID CONTROL SENSOR WIREÂ (See INSTALLATION )
- INSTALL REAR BRAKE DRUM SUB-ASSEMBLYÂ
- ADJUST REAR DRUM BRAKE SHOE CLEARANCEÂ (See INSTALLATION )
- INSTALL REAR WHEELÂ
Torque: 103 N*m (1,050 kgf*cm, 76 ft.*lbf)Â
- CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINALÂ
Torque: 5.4 N*m (55 kgf*cm, 48 in.*lbf)Â
- CHECK ABS SENSOR SIGNALÂ
