Inspection Procedure
- READ VALUE OF TECHSTREAM (LIN COMMUNICATION)
- Use the Data List to check the function of the power window regulator master switch.
- Connect Techstream to the DLC3.
- Turn the ignition switch ON and turn the tester on.
- Read the indication displayed on the tester.

- Use the Data List to check the function of the power window regulator master switch.
- CHECK OPERATION FUNCTION AFTER IGNITION SWITCH IS TURNED OFF
- Check the power window operation function after the ignition switch is turned off.

- Check the power window operation function after the ignition switch is turned off.

- Use the Data List to check the driver side door courtesy switch signal.
- Connect Techstream to the DLC3.
- Turn the ignition switch ON and turn the tester on.

- INSPECT FRONT DOOR COURTESY LIGHT SWITCH ASSEMBLY
- Measure the resistance of the switch.
Standard resistance
STANDARD RESISTANCE SPECIFICATIONTester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition 1 - Switch body Pushed 10 kΩ or higher 1 - Switch body Not pushed Below 1 Ω
NG: REPLACE DOOR COURTESY LIGHT SWITCH ASSEMBLY
OK: Go to Next Step
- Measure the resistance of the switch.
- CHECK INSTRUMENT PANEL JUNCTION BLOCK (MAIN BODY ECU)
- Measure the voltage without removing the IA junction block connector.
Standard voltage:
for Driver side
VOLTAGE SPECIFICATIONTester Connection Driver Door Condition Specified Condition IA-21 (DCTY) - Body ground Fully closed 10 to 14 V IA-21 (DCTY) - Body ground Open Below 1 V for Passenger side

- Measure the voltage without removing the IA junction block connector.
