Inspection Procedure

2008 Toyota Camry XLE, 2.4 ESECTION Inspection Procedure
  1. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (RADIO RECEIVER - STEREO COMPONENT AMPLIFIER) 
    1. Disconnect the connectors from the radio receiver and stereo component amplifier.

    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard resistance 

    RADIO RECEIVER - STEREO COMPONENT AMPLIFIER

    Tester connection Condition Specified condition
    L+-L+ Always Below 1 Ω
    L-L- Always Below 1 Ω
    R+-R+ Always Below 1 Ω
    R-R- Always Below 1 Ω
    SLD-SLD Always Below 1 Ω
    L+ - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
    L-- Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
    R+ - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
    R- - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
    SLD - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher

    NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR 

    OK: PROCEED TO NEXT CIRCUIT INSPECTION SHOWN IN  PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE
