2GR-FE ENGINE CONTROL SYSTEM: VVT SENSOR: INSTALLATION

INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL VVT SENSOR
(a) Intake camshaft (Bank 1).





(1) Install the VVT sensor with the bolt.
Torque: 10 Nm (102 kgf-cm, 7 ft-lbf)
(2) Connect the VVT sensor connector.
(b) Exhaust camshaft (Bank 1).





(1) Install the VVT sensor with the bolt.
Torque: 10 Nm (102 kgf-cm, 7 ft-lbf)
(2) Connect the VVT sensor connector.
(3) Install the cowl top outside panel front .
(4) Install the windshield wiper link assembly .
(c) Exhaust camshaft (Bank 2).





(1) Install the VVT sensor with the bolt.
Torque: 10 Nm (102 kgf-cm, 7 ft-lbf)
(2) Connect the VVT sensor connector.
(d) Intake camshaft (Bank 2).





(1) Install the VVT sensor with the bolt.
Torque: 10 Nm (102 kgf-cm, 7 ft-lbf)
(2) Connect the VVT sensor connector.
2. INSTALL V-BANK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY Installation
