1. CHECK DLC3
(a) Inspect the battery voltage.

If the voltage is below 12 V, recharge the battery before proceeding.
(b) Check the DLC3.
The terminal arrangement of the DLC3 complies with SAE J1962 and matches the ISO 9141-2 format.
