The intelligent tester should be used in steps  3,  4,  5,  7 and  10.

- CONNECT INTELLIGENT TESTER TO THE DLC3Â
HINT:
If the display indicates a communication fault in the tester, inspect the DLC3.

Record or print DTCs and freeze frame data, if necessary.

When to See a Mechanic
Stop DIY work and contact a certified mechanic immediately if any of the following apply:
