OUTER REAR VIEW MIRROR

REMOVAL
1. REMOVE FRONT DOOR INSIDE HANDLE BEZEL
2. REMOVE MULTIPLEX NETWORK MASTER SWITCH ASSEMBLY
3. REMOVE DOOR PULL HANDLE
4. REMOVE FRONT DOOR LOWER FRAME BRACKET GARNISH
5. REMOVE FRONT DOOR TRIM BOARD SUB-ASSEMBLY
6. REMOVE OUTER REAR VIEW MIRROR ASSEMBLY

a. Disconnect the connector and remove the clamp.
b. Remove the 3 bolts and the outer rear view mirror assembly.
7. REMOVE OUTER REAR VIEW MIRROR

a. Push the upper part of the mirror surface and tilt it.
b. Apply protective tape on the outer rear view mirror assembly.
c. Using a moulding remover, disengage the 2 claws at the lower part of the outer rear view mirror.
d. w/o heater mirror:
1. Pull the mirror in the direction indicated by the arrow shown in the illustration to disengage the 2 claws on the upper part of the outer rear view mirror, and remove the outer rear view mirror.
e. w/ heater mirror:
1. Pull the mirror in the direction indicated by the arrow shown in the illustration to disengage the 2 claws on the upper part of the outer rear view mirror, and separate the outer rear view mirror.
2. Disconnect the connector and remove the outer rear view mirror.
INSTALLATION
1. INSTALL OUTER REAR VIEW MIRROR

a. w/ heater mirror:
1. Connect the connector.
b. Engage the 2 claws on the upper part of the outer rear view mirror.
c. Engage the 2 claws on the lower part of the outer rear view mirror as shown in the illustration, and install the outer rear view mirror.
2. INSTALL OUTER REAR VIEW MIRROR ASSEMBLY

a. Install the outer rear view mirror assembly with the 3 bolts.
Torque: 8.0 N.m (82 kgf.cm, 71 in.lbf)
b. Connect the connector and install the clamp.
3. INSTALL FRONT DOOR TRIM BOARD SUB-ASSEMBLY
4. INSTALL FRONT DOOR LOWER FRAME BRACKET GARNISH
5. INSTALL DOOR PULL HANDLE
6. INSTALL MULTIPLEX NETWORK MASTER SWITCH ASSEMBLY
7. INSTALL FRONT DOOR INSIDE HANDLE BEZEL
8. POWER WINDOW CONTROL SYSTEM INITIALIZATION
Outer Rear View Mirror:
REMOVAL
1. REMOVE FRONT DOOR INSIDE HANDLE BEZEL
2. REMOVE MULTIPLEX NETWORK MASTER SWITCH ASSEMBLY
3. REMOVE DOOR PULL HANDLE
4. REMOVE FRONT DOOR LOWER FRAME BRACKET GARNISH
5. REMOVE FRONT DOOR TRIM BOARD SUB-ASSEMBLY
6. REMOVE OUTER REAR VIEW MIRROR ASSEMBLY
a. Disconnect the connector and remove the clamp.
b. Remove the 3 bolts and the outer rear view mirror assembly.
7. REMOVE OUTER REAR VIEW MIRROR
a. Push the upper part of the mirror surface and tilt it.
b. Apply protective tape on the outer rear view mirror assembly.
c. Using a moulding remover, disengage the 2 claws at the lower part of the outer rear view mirror.
d. w/o heater mirror:
1. Pull the mirror in the direction indicated by the arrow shown in the illustration to disengage the 2 claws on the upper part of the outer rear view mirror, and remove the outer rear view mirror.
e. w/ heater mirror:
1. Pull the mirror in the direction indicated by the arrow shown in the illustration to disengage the 2 claws on the upper part of the outer rear view mirror, and separate the outer rear view mirror.
2. Disconnect the connector and remove the outer rear view mirror.
INSTALLATION
1. INSTALL OUTER REAR VIEW MIRROR
a. w/ heater mirror:
1. Connect the connector.
b. Engage the 2 claws on the upper part of the outer rear view mirror.
c. Engage the 2 claws on the lower part of the outer rear view mirror as shown in the illustration, and install the outer rear view mirror.
2. INSTALL OUTER REAR VIEW MIRROR ASSEMBLY
a. Install the outer rear view mirror assembly with the 3 bolts.
Torque: 8.0 N.m (82 kgf.cm, 71 in.lbf)
b. Connect the connector and install the clamp.
3. INSTALL FRONT DOOR TRIM BOARD SUB-ASSEMBLY
4. INSTALL FRONT DOOR LOWER FRAME BRACKET GARNISH
5. INSTALL DOOR PULL HANDLE
6. INSTALL MULTIPLEX NETWORK MASTER SWITCH ASSEMBLY
7. INSTALL FRONT DOOR INSIDE HANDLE BEZEL
8. POWER WINDOW CONTROL SYSTEM INITIALIZATION
