Lubricate
Drive/Propeller Shaft
Perform at mileage interval or every 18 months, whichever comes first. Lubricate the propeller shaft spiders and slide yokes with lithium-base chassis grease and the double cardan joint with molybdenum-disufide lithium-base chassis grease and re-torque the bolts.
Reset
Oil Change Reminder Lamp
Perform at mileage interval or every 6 months whichever occurs first. Reset the oil replacement reminder ("MAINT REQD") light after replacing engine oil, if vehicle is equipped with this light.
Diagnose/Test
Drum Brake System
Perform at mileage interval or every 36 months whichever occurs first. Measure brake lining thickness. Inspect brake linings (shoes) and drums for scoring, burning, fluid leakage, broken parts and excessive wear.
Disc Brake System
Perform at mileage interval or every 36 months whichever occurs first. Measure brake pad thickness and rotor thickness and runout. Inspect for signs of fluid leakage.
Inspect
Valve Clearance
Perform at mileage interval or every 72 months whichever occurs first. Inspect for tappet noise and engine vibration. Adjust if necessary.
Suspension Control ( Automatic - Electronic )
Initial inspection at 30,000 miles or 36 months; inspect every 15,000 or 18 months thereafter. Inspect active height control gas chamber, if equipped.
Steering Gear
Perform at mileage interval or every 18 months whichever occurs first. Inspect steering gear box for signs of leakage.
Steering
Perform at mileage interval or every 18 months, whichever comes first. Check for excessive freeplay in the steering wheel. Inspect the linkage for excessive freeplay, bending and damage and dust boots for deterioration, cracks and damage. Inspect steering gear box condition.
Radiator
Perform at mileage interval or every 18 months, whichever comes first. Inspect radiator and condensor core for debris and signs of damage.
Fuel Tank Mounting Straps
Perform at mileage interval or every 36 months, whichever comes first. Inspect fuel tank band for corrosion, damage, cracks or looseness.
Fuel Supply Line
Perform at mileage interval or every 36 months, whichever comes first. Inspect fuel lines for corrosion, damage, cracks and loose or leaking connections
Fuel Filler Cap
Perform at mileage interval or every 36 months, whichever comes first. Inspect fuel tank cap gasket for damage, cracks, looseness or leakage.
Fluid - Differential
Perform at mileage interval or every 18 months whichever occurs first. Inspect rear differential oil and check for signs of leakage.

Perform at mileage interval or every 36 months, whichever comes first.
Exhaust System
Perform at mileage interval or every 18 months, whichever comes first. Visually inspect the exhaust pipes, muffler and hangers for cracks, deterioration and damage. Check for exhaust leakage.
Evaporative Emissions Hose
Perform at mileage interval or every 36 months, whichever comes first. Inspect fuel tank vapor vent system hoses for damage, cracks and loose or leaking connections.
Drive Belt
Initial inspection at 60,000 miles or 72 months. Inspect every 15,000 miles or 18 months thereafter, whichever comes first. Inspect drive belts for cracks, excessive wear and oilyness. Check belt tension.
Coolant
Perform at mileage interval or every 18 months, whichever comes first. Inspect coolant and check system hoses and connections for corrosion and leaks.
Condenser HVAC
Perform at mileage interval or every 18 months, whichever comes first. Inspect condenser for debris and signs of damage.
Brake Hose/Line
Perform at mileage interval or every 18 months, whichever comes first. Visually inspect brake lines and hoses for proper installation, chafing, cracks, deterioration and signs of leakage.
Ball Joint
Perform at mileage interval or every 18 months, whichever comes first. Check the suspension and steering linkage ball joints for looseness and damage. Check all dust covers for deterioration and damage.
