Wiper Switch: Removal

- DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
Wait for at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable to prevent the airbag from working.
- REMOVE STEERING COLUMN LOWER COVER (See REMOVAL )
- REMOVE STEERING COLUMN UPPER COVER (See REMOVAL )
- REMOVE WIPER SWITCH
- Disconnect the 2 connectors.
- Using a screwdriver wrapped with protective tape, disengage the claw and remove the windshield wiper switch assembly.NOTE: The claw will break if pressed too hard.
