Headlight Dimmer Switch: Installation
2006 Toyota Tacoma Base, 4D Pickup, StandardSECTION Installation
- INSTALL HEADLIGHT DIMMER SWITCH ASSEMBLY
- Engage the 2 claws and install the headlight dimmer switch assembly as shown in Fig 1.
- Install the headlight dimmer switch assembly with the clamp.
- Connect the connector.
- INSTALL WINDSHIELD WIPER SWITCH ASSEMBLY (See INSTALLATION )
- INSTALL SPIRAL CABLE SUB-ASSEMBLY (See INSTALLATION )
- INSTALL STEERING COLUMN UPPER COVER (See INSTALLATION )
- INSTALL STEERING COLUMN LOWER COVER (See INSTALLATION )
- INSTALL CENTER SPIRAL CABLE (See INSTALLATION )
- INSTALL STEERING WHEEL ASSEMBLY (See INSTALLATION )
- INSPECT STEERING WHEEL CENTER POINT
- INSPECT HORN BUTTON ASSEMBLY
- INSTALL HORN BUTTON ASSEMBLY
- CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
Torque: 3.9 N*m (40 kgf*cm, 35 in.*lbf)
- INSPECT SRS WARNING LIGHT
- INSTALL NO. 3 STEERING WHEEL LOWER COVER (See REMOVAL )
- INSTALL NO. 2 STEERING WHEEL LOWER COVER (See REMOVAL )
