System Outline
The power window motor will operate when the power window SW, remote control SW, or the key-linked SW is operated.
1. Power Window SW Manual/Automatic Operation
When the ignition SW is turned ON, or during key-off operation stand-by mode, the power window can be operated by the power window SW.
2. Remote Control SW Manual/Automatic Operation
When the ignition SW is turned ON, or during key-off operation stand-by mode, the power window can be operated by the master SW. The front passenger, rear left, right windows can be operated according to the remote control signals from the driver door ECU.
3. Key-Off Operation
With all the doors closed, within 43 seconds after the ignition switch has been turned to OFF from ON, the power window can be operated. However, if the front door is opened, the power window cannot be operated.
4. Jam Protection Function
When load is detected, the power window motor is rotated to the opposite direction.
The driver's seat, front passenger seat and back door power windows have this function.
5. Back Door Key Operation SW
When the back door key SW is operated to LOCK or UNLOCK side for more than approximately 0.75 seconds, the back door window can be opened/closed manually.
