REMOVAL




1. REMOVE HOOD INSULATOR
a. Using a clip remover, remove the 7 clips and hood insulator.

2. REMOVE WASHER NOZZLE SUB-ASSEMBLY




3. DISCONNECT WINDSHIELD WASHER HOSE
a. Detach the 3 clamps and disconnect the washer hose.




4. REMOVE HOOD AUXILIARY CATCH HOOK ASSEMBLY
a. Remove the bolt and hook.




5. REMOVE HOOD SUB-ASSEMBLY
a. Remove the 4 bolts and hood.




6. REMOVE HOOD HINGE ASSEMBLY LH
a. Remove the 2 bolts and hood hinge.

7. REMOVE HOOD HINGE ASSEMBLY RH
a. Remove the 2 bolts and hood hinge.

8. REMOVE RADIATOR SUPPORT OPENING COVER




9. REMOVE ENGINE HOOD LOCK STRIKER ASSEMBLY
a. Remove the 3 bolts and hood lock striker.

10. REMOVE CUSHION RUBBER
a. Remove the 4 cushion rubbers.

INSTALLATION
1. INSTALL CUSHION RUBBER
a. Install the 4 cushion rubbers.




2. INSTALL ENGINE HOOD LOCK STRIKER ASSEMBLY
a. Install the hood lock striker with the 3 bolts.

Torque: 8.0 N.m (82 kgf.cm, 71 in.lbf)

3. INSTALL RADIATOR SUPPORT OPENING COVER




4. INSTALL HOOD HINGE ASSEMBLY LH
a. Install the hood hinge with the 2 bolts.

Torque: 13.0 N.m (133 kgf.cm, 10 ft.lbf)

5. INSTALL HOOD HINGE ASSEMBLY RH
a. Install the hood hinge with the 2 bolts.

Torque: 13.0 N.m (133 kgf.cm, 10 ft.lbf)




6. INSTALL HOOD SUB-ASSEMBLY
a. Install the hood with the 4 bolts.

Torque: 13.0 N.m (133 kgf.cm, 10 ft.lbf)

b. Adjust the hood position.




7. INSTALL HOOD AUXILIARY CATCH HOOK ASSEMBLY
a. Install the hook with the bolt.

Torque: 8.0 N.m (82 kgf.cm, 71 in.lbf)




8. CONNECT WINDSHIELD WASHER HOSE
a. Attach the 3 clamps to connect the washer hose.

9. INSTALL WASHER NOZZLE SUB-ASSEMBLY




10. INSTALL HOOD INSULATOR
a. Install the hood insulator with the 7 clips.
