Engine Control System (1ZZ-FE) - SFI System - Component Tests: ECM: Installation
- INSTALL ECM BRACKET NO. 3 (for DENSO Made)
- Install the ECM bracket No. 3 with the 2 screws.
Torque: 3.2 N*m (33 kgf*cm, 28 in.*lbf)
- Install the ECM bracket No. 3 with the 2 screws.
- INSTALL ECM BRACKET NO. 2 (for DENSO Made)
- Install the ECM bracket No. 2 with the 2 screws.
Torque: 3.2 N*m (33 kgf*cm, 28 in.*lbf)
- Install the ECM bracket No. 2 with the 2 screws.
- INSTALL ECM BRACKET NO. 1 (for DENSO Made)
- Install the ECM bracket No. 1 with the 2 screws.
Torque: 3.2 N*m (33 kgf*cm, 28 in.*lbf)
- Install the ECM bracket No. 1 with the 2 screws.
- INSTALL ECM BRACKET NO. 1 (for DELCO Made)
- Install the ECM bracket No. 1 with the 4 screws.
Torque: 3.2 N*m (33 kgf*cm, 28 in.*lbf)
- Install the ECM bracket No. 1 with the 4 screws.
- INSTALL ECM COVER
- Install a new ECM cover onto the ECM as shown in Fig 5.
- INSTALL ECM
- Install the ECM with the 2 screws.
Torque: 3.0 N*m (31 kgf*cm, 27 in.*lbf)
- Connect the 4 ECM connectors [B].
- Install the wire harness clamp [C].
- Install the cover with the 2 clips.
- Install the ECM with the 2 screws.
- INSTALL GLOVE COMPARTMENT DOOR ASSEMBLY
- CONNECT BATTERY NEGATIVE TERMINAL
Torque: 5.4 N*m (55 kgf*cm, 48 in.*lbf)
- REGISTRATION VIN
