ECM (2UZ-FE): Replacement
2006 Toyota 4Runner SR5, 4.7 T, AWDSECTION Replacement
- REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL UNDER COVER SUB-ASSY NO.2 (See REPLACEMENT )
- REMOVE GLOVE COMPARTMENT DOOR SUB-ASSY (See REPLACEMENT )
- REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL LOWER NO.2 (See REPLACEMENT )
- REMOVE ECM
- Disconnect the 5 ECM connector.
- Remove the 3 nuts and ECM.
- Remove the 2 screws and ECM bracket No. 1 from the ECM.
- Remove the 2 screws and ECM bracket No. 2 from the ECM.
- INSTALL ECM
- Install the ECM bracket No. 2 with the 2 screws to the ECM.
- Install the ECM bracket No. 1 with the 2 screws to ECM.
- Install the ECM with the 3 nuts.
Torque: 13 N.m (133 kgf.cm, 10 ft.lbf)
- Connect the 5 ECM connector.
