Charcoal Canister ASSY (2UZ-FE): Replacement
2006 Toyota 4Runner SR5, 4.7 T, AWDSECTION Replacement
- REMOVE SPARE TIRE
- REMOVE CHARCOAL CANISTER ASSY
- Disconnect the fuel tank vent hose from the charcoal canister.
- Deeply push the connector inside.
- Pinch portion A.
- Pull out the connector.
- Disconnect the canister outlet hose No. 2 from the charcoal canister.
- Deeply push the connector inside.
- Pinch portion A.
- Pull out the connector.
- Disconnect the VSV connector form the CCV.
- Disconnect the purge line hose from the charcoal canister.
- Remove the 3 bolts, and the charcoal canister from the body.

- Disconnect the fuel tank vent hose from the charcoal canister.
- INSTALL CHARCOAL CANISTER ASSY
- Install the charcoal canister with the 3 bolts.
Torque: 20 N.m (204 kgf.cm, 15 ft.lbf)
- Connect the purge line hose to the charcoal canister.
- Connect the VSV connector to the CCV.
- Connect the canister outlet hose No. 2 to the charcoal canister.
- Connect the fuel tank hose to the charcoal canister.
- Install the charcoal canister with the 3 bolts.
