Seat Heater System: Inspection
- INSPECT SEAT HEATER SWITCH LH
- Check the resistance between the terminals when the switch is operated.
Standard:
SWITCH CONDITION TABLETester Connection Switch Position Specified Condition 3 -- 4 ON (MAX) Below 1 Ω 5 -- 6 ON (MAX) Below 1 Ω - OFF 10 k Ω or higher 4 -- 5 ON (MIN) Below 1 Ω 1 -- 2 Illumination circuit Below 1 Ω - Inspect the seat heater switch indicator.
- Connect the positive (+) lead from the battery to terminal 3 and the negative (-) lead to terminal 1.
- Push the seat heater switch ON and check that the indicator lights up.
If the result is not as specified, replace the seat heater switch and inspect the circuits connected to the other parts.
- Inspect the seat heater switch illumination.
- Connect the positive (+) lead from the battery to terminal 6 and the negative (-) lead to terminal 5.
- Check that the illumination lights up.
If the result is not as specified, replace the seat heater switch or bulb.
- Check the resistance between the terminals when the switch is operated.
- INSPECT SEAT HEATER SWITCH RH
- Check the resistance between the terminals when the switch is operated.
Standard:

If the result is not as specified, replace the seat heater switch or bulb.
- Check the resistance between the terminals when the switch is operated.

- INSPECT FRONT SEAT CUSHION HEATER ASSY LH
- INSPECT FRONT SEAT CUSHION HEATER ASSY RH
