INSPECTION


1. INSPECT AIR BAG CUT OFF SW CYLINDER SUB-ASSEMBLY
a. Check the resistance.
1. Using an ohmmeter, measure the resistance between the terminals.
If the result is not as specified, replace the air bag cut off sw cylinder sub-assembly.

2. INSPECT HAZARD WARNING SIGNAL SWITCH ASSEMBLY
a. Check the switch illumination.
1. Connect the battery positive (+) lead to terminal 3 and the battery negative (-) lead to terminal 12.
2. Check that the passenger airbag ON indicator light up.
If the operation is not as specified, replace the hazard warning signal switch assembly.
3. Connect the battery positive (+) lead to terminal 3 and the battery negative (-) lead to terminal 5.
4. Check that the passenger airbag OFF indicator light up.
If the operation is not as specified, replace the hazard warning signal switch assembly.
