Throttle Body (1ZZ-FE): Installation

2005 Toyota Celica GT-S, StandardSECTION Installation
  1. INSTALL THROTTLE BODY 
    1. Install a new gasket on the intake manifold, as shown in Fig 1 .

    2. Install the throttle body with the 2 bolts and 2 nuts.

      Torque: 21 N.m (210 kgf.cm, 15 ft.lbf)

    3. Connect the 2 water by-pass hoses to the throttle body.

    4. Install the No. 2 water by-pass pipe with the 2 bolts.

    5. Connect the IAC valve connector.

    6. Connect the throttle position sensor connector.
    7. Connect the PCV hose to throttle body.
  2. INSTALL AIR CLEANER HOSE AND CAP WITH MAF METER 
  3. INSTALL NO. 2 CYLINDER HEAD COVER 
  4. FILL RADIATOR WITH ENGINE COOLANT
