Inspect Oil Control Valve Resistance

- Remove the No. 2 cylinder head cover.
- 2ZZ-GE:
Disconnect the 2 PCV hoses.
- Disconnect the oil control valve connector.
- Using an ohmmeter, measure the resistance between the terminals.
Resistance: 6.9 - 7.9 Ξ© at 20Β°C (68Β°F)Β
If the resistance is not as specified, replace the valve.
- Reconnect the oil control valve connector.
- Reinstall the V-bank cover.
