Engine Cooling System: Thermostat: Installation
2005 Toyota Celica GT-S, StandardSECTION Installation
- PLACE THERMOSTAT IN CYLINDER BLOCK
- Install a new gasket to the thermostat.
- Install the thermostat with the jiggle valve upward.
HINT:
The jiggle valve may be set within 10° of either side of the prescribed position.
- INSTALL WATER INLET
Install the water inlet with the 2 nuts.
Torque: 10 N.m (100 kgf.cm, 7 ft.lbf)
- INSTALL GENERATOR AND DRIVE BELT
(See INSTALLATION )
- FILL WITH ENGINE COOLANT
- START ENGINE, AND CHECK FOR COOLANT LEAKS
