Roof Headlining: Removal
- REMOVE DOOR SCUFF PLATE
- Using a screwdriver, remove the door scuff plate.
HINT:
Tape the screwdriver tip before use.
- Employ the same manner described above to the other side.
- Using a screwdriver, remove the door scuff plate.
- REMOVE PACKAGE TRAY TRIM
- REMOVE REAR SEAT (See REMOVAL )
- REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRAY
- Using a clip remover, remove the 2 clips.
- Using a screwdriver, remove the luggage compartment tray.
HINT:
Tape the screwdriver tip before use.
- REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT MAT
- REMOVE REAR DECK TRIM COVER
- Remove the 2 bolts and 2 hooks.
- Remove the 3 clips.
- Using a screwdriver, remove the rear deck trim cover.
HINT:
Tape the screwdriver tip before use.
- REMOVE DECK TRIM SIDE PANEL
- Remove the screw and No. 1 luggage compartment trim hook.
- RH side:
Using a screwdriver, remove the rear room light, then disconnect the connector.
HINT:
Tape the screwdriver tip before use.
- Remove the 2 clips.
- Using a screwdriver, remove the deck trim side panel.
HINT:
Tape the screwdriver tip before use.
- Employ the same manner described above to the other side.
- REMOVE REAR SEATBACK HINGES
- Torque: 18 N.m (185 kgf.cm, 13 ft.lbf)
- REMOVE REAR SEATBACK LOCK STRIKERS
- Torque: 18 N.m (185 kgf.cm, 13 ft.lbf)
- REMOVE REAR SEAT OUTER BELT FLOOR ANCHORS
HINT:
At the time of installation, please refer to the following item. Install the rear seat outer belt floor anchor as shown in Fig 5 .
- Torque: 43 N.m (440 kgf.cm, 32 ft.lbf)
- REMOVE QUARTER TRIM PANEL
- Using a screwdriver, remove the quarter trim panel.
HINT:
Tape the screwdriver tip before use.
- Employ the same manner described above to the other side.
- Using a screwdriver, remove the quarter trim panel.
- REMOVE FRONT SEAT OUTER BELT SHOULDER ANCHOR
- Torque: 43 N.m (440 kgf.cm, 32 ft.lbf)
- REMOVE ROOF SIDE INNER GARNISH
- Using a screwdriver, open the cap of coat hook.
HINT:
Tape the screwdriver tip before use.
- Remove the screw and coat hook.
- Using a screwdriver, remove the roof side inner quarter.
HINT:
Tape the screwdriver tip before use.
- Employ the same manner described above to the other side.
- Using a screwdriver, open the cap of coat hook.
- REMOVE FRONT PILLAR GARNISH
- Using a screwdriver, remove the front pillar garnish.
HINT:
Tape the screwdriver tip before use.
- Employ the same manner described above to the other side.
- Using a screwdriver, remove the front pillar garnish.
- REMOVE COWL SIDE TRIMS
- REMOVE FRONT DOOR OPENING TRIMS
- w/o Sliding roof:
- REMOVE MAP LIGHT ASSEMBLY
- Using a screwdriver, remove the lens.
HINT:
Tape the screwdriver tip before use.
- Remove the 2 screws and map light assembly, then disconnect the connector.
- w/ Sliding roof:
- REMOVE MAP LIGHT ASSEMBLY
- Remove the screw.
- Using a molding remover, remove the cover.
- Remove the screw and map light assembly, then disconnect the connector.
- w/ Sliding roof:
- REMOVE SUN ROOF OPENING TRIM MOLDING
- REMOVE SUN VISORS
- REMOVE SUN VISOR HOLDERS
- REMOVE ROOF HEADLINING
- Using a clip remover, remove the 5 clips.
- Remove the roof headlining.
- REMOVE CLIP STOPPERS
- REMOVE FRONT ROOF SIDE RAIL PAD
- Remove the 6 screws and front roof side rail pad.
- Employ the same manner described above to the other side.
