Charcoal Canister ASSY (2UZ-FE): Replacement

2005 Toyota 4Runner SR5, 4.7 T, AWDSECTION Replacement
  1. REMOVE SPARE TIRE

  2. REMOVE CHARCOAL CANISTER ASSY 
    1. Disconnect the fuel tank vent hose from the charcoal canister.
      1. Deeply push the connector inside.
      2. Pinch portion A.
      3. Pull out the connector.
    2. Disconnect the canister outlet hose No. 2 from the charcoal canister.
      1. Deeply push the connector inside.
      2. Pinch portion A.
      3. Pull out the connector.
    3. Disconnect the VSV connector form the CCV.
    4. Disconnect the purge line hose from the charcoal canister.
    5. Remove the 3 bolts, and the charcoal canister from the body.
  3. INSTALL CHARCOAL CANISTER ASSY 
    1. Install the charcoal canister with the 3 bolts.

      Torque: 20 N.m (204 kgf.cm, 15 ft.lbf) 

    2. Connect the purge line hose to the charcoal canister.
    3. Connect the VSV connector to the CCV.
    4. Connect the canister outlet hose No. 2 to the charcoal canister.
    5. Connect the fuel tank hose to the charcoal canister.
