Upper Control Arm ASSY (4WD): Replacement

COMPONENTS: See COMPONENTS
- REMOVE REAR WHEEL
- REMOVE EXHAUST PIPE ASSY (See EXHAUST )
- REMOVE PROPELLER W/CENTER BEARING SHAFT ASSY (See OVERHAUL )
- SEPARATE REAR STABILIZER LINK ASSY LH (See DRIVE SHAFT, PROPELLER SHAFT, AXLE )
- SEPARATE REAR STABILIZER LINK ASSY RH
HINT:
Separate the RH side by the same procedure as the LH side.

- REMOVE REAR AXLE SHAFT RH NUT

HINT:
Remove the RH side by the same procedure as the LH side.
- REMOVE REAR BRAKE DRUM SUB-ASSY
- DISCONNECT SPEED SENSOR REAR LH (W/ ABS)
- Remove the 2 bolts and nut, disconnect the speed sensor rear LH from the upper control arm assy.
- DISCONNECT SPEED SENSOR REAR RH (W/ ABS)
HINT:
Disconnect the RH side by the same procedure as the LH side.

- SEPARATE UPPER CONTROL ARM ASSY
- Remove the bolt and nut, separate the upper control arm assy.
NOTE: When removing the bolt, stop the nut from rotating and loosen the bolt.
