Rear Bumper: Replacement

HINT:
- Installation is in the reverse order of removal. However, when there is a special point concerning installation, it is indicated.
- A bolt without a torque specification is shown in the standard bolt chart (see STANDARD BOLT ).
- REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT FLOOR MAT
- REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM HOOK NO. 1
- Remove the bolt and luggage compartment trim hook.
- Use the same manner described above to the other luggage compartment trim hook.
- REMOVE REAR FLOOR FINISH PLATE
- Using a clip remover, remove the 3 clips, 2 bolts and luggage compartment trim cover inner.
- Disconnect the 4 clips and remove the rear floor finish plate.
- REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER INNER RH
- Using a clip remover, remove the 2 clips and luggage compartment trim cover inner.
- REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER INNER LH
- Use the same procedures described for the RH side.
- REMOVE REAR BUMPER COVER
- Remove the 8 nuts, 4 bolts and 2 screws.
- Using a screwdriver, remove the 4 clips.
- Disconnect the side hooks and remove the rear bumper cover.
- REMOVE REAR BUMPER SIDE RETAINER NO. 3 RH
- Using a clip remover, remove the 3 clips and rear bumper side retainer.
- REMOVE REAR BUMPER SIDE RETAINER NO. 3 LH
- Use the same procedures described for the RH side.
- REMOVE REAR BUMPER SIDE RETAINER RH
- Using a clip remover, remove the clip and rear bumper side retainer.
- REMOVE REAR BUMPER SIDE RETAINER LH
- Use the same procedures described for the RH side.
- REMOVE REAR BUMPER ENERGY ABSORBER
- REMOVE REAR BUMPER ENERGY ABSORBER NO. 2
- REMOVE REAR BUMPER SEAL
- REMOVE REAR BUMPER BAR
- REMOVE REAR BUMPER REINFORCEMENT NO. 1
- Remove the 6 nuts and rear bumper reinforcement.
- INSTALL REAR BUMPER REINFORCEMENT NO. 1
- Install the rear bumper reinforcement with 6 nuts.
Torque: 68 N.m (693 kgf.cm, 50 ft.lbf)
- Install the rear bumper reinforcement with 6 nuts.
