A/C Compressor Clutch Relay: Removal

2004 Toyota Matrix XR, FWD, StandardSECTION Removal

  1. Disconnect and isolate the battery negative cable.
  2. Unlatch and remove the cover from the Integrated Power Module (IPM).
  3. See the fuse and relay layout map molded into the inner surface of the IPM cover for compressor clutch relay identification and location.
  4. Remove the compressor clutch relay from the IPM by pulling it straight up.
