First Row Seat Back Cushion/Cover: Installation

2004 Toyota Matrix XR, FWD, StandardSECTION Installation

  1. Place cover on cushion.
  2. Install cushion and cover onto seat pan.
  3. Install three screws attaching inner side shield hinge area.
  4. Install two screws attaching outer side shield buckle side.
  5. Engage inner J-straps to seat frame (Figure ).
  6. Install plastic seat back panel (Figure ).
  7. Install screws attaching plastic cover to seat back frame.
  8. Engage outer J-straps to seat back (Figure ).
  9. Install headrest sleeves. (Refer to INSTALLATION  ).
  10. Install seat back panel. (Refer to INSTALLATION  )
  11. Install armrest. (Refer to INSTALLATION  ).
  12. Connect heat element wire harness.
  13. Install first row seat. (Refer to INSTALLATION  ).
  14. Install headrest. (Refer to INSTALLATION  ).
  15. Connect battery negative cable.
