- Release liftgate latch and open liftgate.
- Disconnect power liftgate link from ball head bracket, if equipped (Fig 1 ). (Refer to POWER LIFTGATE SYSTEM ).
- Using a trim stick C-4755 or equivalent, disengage the upper trim panel locking tabs.
- Remove upper trim panel from liftgate.
