- Release liftgate latch and open liftgate.
- Remove liftgate upper trim panel. .
- Remove two (2) upper screws attaching trim panel (Fig 1 ).
- Remove six (6) lower screws attaching trim panel.
- Remove liftgate trim panel from vehicle.
- Gently pull trim panel away from liftgate to disengage pins and grommets.
- Remove trim panel from vehicle.
