- With assistance, place liftgate into position.
- Support liftgate on a suitable lifting device.NOTE: Use a suitable body sealer on the hinge to body mating surfaces prior to installation.
- Install nuts attaching liftgate hinge to roof header. (Refer to HINGEΒ ).
- Connect prop rods to liftgate. (Refer to PROP ROD ASSEMBLYΒ ).
- Connect power liftgate link to liftgate.
- Connect liftgate wiring and hoses.
- Install upper header trim panel. (Refer to REAR HEADER TRIM ).
- Check liftgate for proper alignment. (Refer to GAP AND FLUSH ).
