- Remove the upper liftgate trim. (Refer to TRIM PANEL ).
- For the upper liftgate adjustments, loosen the hinge to header nuts and adjust to specifications (Figure ). (Refer to GAP AND FLUSH ).
- Tighten nuts to 23 N.m (17 ft. lbs.) torque.
- For the lower liftgate adjustments, loosen the striker screws and adjust to specifications (Figure ). (Refer to GAP AND FLUSH ).
- Tighten screws to 33 N.m (24 ft. lbs.) torque.
- Install the upper liftgate opening trim.(Refer to TRIM PANEL ).
