Floor Console Base Assembly: Installation
2004 Toyota Matrix XR, FWD, StandardSECTION Installation

- Place floor console base assembly into position (Figure).
- Install wire harnesses through console base into position.
- Connect wire connectors.
- Install two screws attaching L-brackets to instrument panel.
- Install nine attaching nuts and washers to weld studs.
- Install shift mechanism. (Refer to SHIFT MECHANISM ).
- Install front and rear floor consoles. (Refer to INSTALLATION ) and (Refer to INSTALLATION ).
