Cross-Over Pipe: Removal

2004 Toyota Matrix XR, FWD, StandardSECTION Removal

  1. Disconnect negative cable from battery.
  2. Remove the fasteners attaching the left bank manifold connection to cross-over pipe (Fig 1 ).
  3. Loosen and remove the lower fastener.
  4. Remove the cross-over pipe support fastener.
  5. Remove the cross-over pipe (Fig 1 ).
  6. Remove gaskets and discard (Fig 1 ).
