- INSPECT FUEL LID OPENER SWITCH CONTINUITY
- Check the continuity exists between terminals with the switch ON.
- Check that no continuity exists between terminals with the switch OFF.
If continuity is not as specified, replace the switch assembly.
- INSPECT FUEL LID OPENER MOTOR OPERATION
- Connect the positive (+) lead from the battery to terminal 2 and the negative (-) lead to terminal 1.
- Check that the motor operates in the open direction.
If operation is not as specified, replace the motor.
