Section 852 (Driver Door Control System - Diagnosis): Pre-Check

2004 Toyota Matrix XR, FWD, StandardSECTION Pre-Check

  1. DTC CHECK (Using LEXUS hand-held tester) 
    1. Prepare the LEXUS hand-held tester.
    2. Connect the LEXUS hand-held to DLC3.
    3. Turn the ignition switch ON and the LEXUS hand-held tester main switch ON.
    4. Use the LEXUS hand-held tester to check the DTCs, and note them down. (For operational instructions, see the LEXUS hand-held tester's instruction book).
    5. See DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE CHART  to confirm the details of DLC3.
  2. DTC CLEARANCE 

    DTC will be cleared when the trouble output to DTC is recovered normally.
