HINT:

In case of using the LEXUS hand-held tester, start the inspection from step 1 and in case of not using the LEXUS hand-held tester, start from step  2.

  1. Check the slide power seat motor using LEXUS hand-held tester. 

    PREPARATION: 

    Connect the LEXUS hand-held tester to the DLC3.

    CHECK: 

    Check the slide power seat motor can be operated in ACTIVE TEST.

    1. OK : Proceed to next circuit inspection shown on problem symptom table (See  PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE  ). 
    2. NG : Go to next step. 
  2. Check slide power seat motor (See  POWER SEAT CONTROL SYSTEM  ). 
    1. NG : Replace motor. 
    2. OK : Go to next step. 
  3. Check slide position sensor (See  INSPECTION  ). 
    1. NG : Replace power seat motor. 
    2. OK : Go to next step. 
  4. Check harness and connectors between rear LH seat ECU and slide motor and position sensors, sensors and body ground (See  INSPECTION  ). 
    1. OK : Repair or replace harness or connectors. 
    2. NG : Check and replace rear LH seat ECU (See  HOW TO USE THE DIAGNOSTIC CHART AND INSPECTION PROCEDURE  ).
