- CLOSE BOTH HAND VALVES OF MANIFOLD GAUGE SET
- DISCONNECT QUICK DISCONNECT ADAPTERS FROM SERVICE VALVES ON REFRIGERANT LINE

Slide the sleeve of the quick disconnect adapter upward to unlock the adapter and remove it from the service valve.
