2004 Toyota Matrix XR, FWD, StandardSECTION Inspection Procedure

  1. Check the door lock control switch circuit using DTC check. (see CIRCUIT INSPECTION )
    1. OK: Proceed to next circuit inspection shown on problem symptoms table. (See  PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE  ) 
    2. OK: Go to next step. 
  2. Check the door lock control switch (See INSPECTION ).
    1. NG: Replace the door lock control switch. 
    2. OK: Go to next step. 
  3. Check wire harness and connector between door lock control switch and passenger door ECU.
    1. NG: Repair or replace wire harness or connector. 
    2. OK: Go to next step. 
  4. Check wire harness and connector between door lock control switch and power window master switch.
    1. NG: Repair or replace wire harness or connector. 
    2. OK: Go to next step. 

      Proceed to next circuit inspection shown on problem symptoms table (See  PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE  )
