2004 Toyota Matrix XR, FWD, StandardSECTION Inspection Procedure

  1. INSPECT RADIO AND NAVIGATION ASSY (B, ACC, GND) 
    1. Disconnect the radio and navigation assy connector R7.
    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in SPECIFIED CONDITION  .

      Standard: 

      SPECIFIED CONDITION

      Tester connection Condition Specified condition
      GND - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω

    3. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in SPECIFIED CONDITION  .

      Standard: 

      SPECIFIED CONDITION

      Tester connection Condition Specified condition
      B - GND Always 10 to 14 V
      ACC - GND Ignition SW ACC 10 to 14 V
    1. NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR 
    2. OK: PROCEED TO NEXT CIRCUIT INSPECTION SHOWN IN PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE OR DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE TABLE (SEE  PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE   or  DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE TABLE  )
